About
CSE(AI-ML) Department
The Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and
Machine Learning) department at RCC Institute of Information Technology
(RCCIIT) was introduced in the academic year 2023-2024 with an intake
capacity of 60 students. This AICTE-approved program marks RCCIIT's
initiative to offer degree programs in emerging areas identified by
AICTE, New Delhi. Building on its legacy and reputation for delivering
quality education since its establishment in 1999, RCCIIT has now
ventured into the domain of AI and ML.
The department is supported by a robust team of expert faculty members
who have proven track records in both academics and research in the
fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. This new program
aims to provide students with a strong foundation in AI and ML, preparing
them to meet the growing demands of these rapidly evolving fields.
To be a leading center of excellence, fostering innovation, imparting
quality education, developing skilled professionals, promoting lifelong
learning, and collaborating with industry to address societal challenges
through advanced AI and ML research and applications.
To groom the students to:
M1. Be able to acquire in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience
to excel in their professional careers to gain through a rigorous
curriculum that integrates theoretical foundations with practical
applications in AI and ML.
M2. Be able to address real-world challenges in the fields
of artificial intelligence and machine learning by nurturing through
a research-driven environment that encourages faculty and students
to pursue innovative projects, contribute to cutting-edge advancements.
M3. Be able to apply AI and ML solutions to benefit society
and drive technological progress through strong partnerships with
industry leaders and research organizations to enhance learning opportunities,
facilitate internships and placements..
